Eastgate Baptist Church is a town centre church that faces you as you cross the Phoenix Causeway into Lewes. (See map)

We are a medium-sized church that strikes a balance between the traditional and the contemporary. We follow Jesus Christ and base all that we do on the Bible.

We welcome visitors and the curious.

Our minister is Rev Oliver Stopp.  He is supported by a team of deacons, and the Church Secretary.

The church has a history that stretches over four centuries. Our core beliefs have remained unchanged over that time, and are in line with what Christians have always believed.
