Old Testament – mere myths?
This trip is part of our ‘Old Testament – mere myths?’ week.
Plan
Meet at Lewes station and catch the 10.20 to Victoria, then the Tube to Tottenham Court Road, with a 10-minute walk to the Museum. We’ll eat our packed lunches (bring your own) at the Museum, then do the tour (approx 2 hours). By 3pm we should be fnished and can go our separate ways.
Who?
Everyone is welcome. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. You don’t need to book in advance. Just turn up.
Tour
Tim Mitchell will be leading the tour. He has done this a number of times over the last dozen years.
Costs
Entry to the Museum is free.
Train tickets can be bought from Lewes station on the day. An adult off-peak return is £14. If 3 or more adults travel together (both journeys) then you can get a GroupSave deal where 3-4 adults travel for £28 in total, and children for a further £1 each.
The Tube is cheapest and easiest with an Oyster card.You can order one in advance from TfL.
